Start with “Why”.
As fans of Simon Sinek and experienced project leaders, we start with understanding the problem we’re trying to solve and naming the outcome we’re trying to achieve together. This includes understanding your stakeholders, barriers, red tape, and solutions you’ve already tested.
Know the Why
Our Approach
Determine Strategy
Identify a path to success.
We’ll provide you with a proposal that best suits your project needs. Whether that looks like an updated strategic plan, a facilitated session, or project management and capacity building, we’ll share an effective project plan, providing opportunities for client iteration.
Create Impact
Achieve your goal.
Since we started with why, we are driving toward it from step one. We’ll guide your project to the finish line. I’ll meet you where you need me, whether it’s as a collaborative partner or a professional you trust to get things done when you don’t have the time to be too involved.

Who We Are
Abby Ault is the founder of Innovate Work Consulting, bringing over 15 years of experience in workforce development, strategic planning, and cross-sector collaboration. She specializes in translating complex workforce systems into practical, employer-led strategies that strengthen talent pipelines and expand economic opportunity.
Based in Colorado and connected nationally, Abby has partnered with workforce boards, state agencies, industry coalitions, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations to design and facilitate initiatives that drive real results. Known for her inclusive, grounded facilitation style, she helps diverse stakeholders move from data and discussion to shared ownership and sustainable action. Abby leverages design thinking principles whenever possible to ensure stakeholder buy-in and enable iteration to drive the best results.
Driven by her passion for facilitation, leadership, and team development, Abby earned her Everything DiSC Certification and brings more than credentials to every engagement. Rather than relying on templated slides, she builds each session around the specific needs and goals of the individual or group, using DiSC as a foundation and layering in the activities, framing, and context that make it genuinely land.
When projects call for expanded capacity, Abby collaborates through Traverse Strategy Group to ensure clients receive both personalized attention and multidisciplinary expertise.
